Shilpa Verma

Shilpa is the CEO and Founder of GlobeCap Ventures which focuses to serve the secondaries market for pre-IPO companies' securities. Prior to founding GlobeCap, Shilpa was a Vice President at Oceanic Partners. She also has experience working with ASK Property Investment Advisors, an Advent International-backed PE, where she was a key member of the Investment team. Shilpa also worked with EY and Credit Suisse in various roles catering to various aspects of M&A deals for clients spanning across the US, UK, and India. She has a demonstrated history of excellence in private equity, investment banking, and consulting with expertise in investor relations management and investment life cycle management,  including investment due diligence, investment selection, deal negotiation, transaction structuring (equity, debt, & hybrid), valuation, asset performance management and investment exit facilitation. 

Shilpa carries a post-graduate diploma in business administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in commerce (with specialization in finance and accounting) from India. She is also a CA (akin to US CPA in India) and a CS. She holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
